NJEA offers the PRIDE in Public Education program and the FAST Families and Schools Together program to help bring local Associations and the community together.
PRIDE in Public Education is a campaign aimed at sharing the successes of the New Jersey’s public schools and building community support and involvement.
The goal of FAST is to involve parents and families in their children’s education through programs and events to help improve student achievement and ensure that families feel welcome and connected to our schools.
This year the MCESA will be working with the ESCNJ administration on how we can implement these programs into our schools.
A few examples of projects that can be funded by PRIDE and FAST are: Sensory Paths for the Schools, Gardens, assistance with student proms, dances, PTO events, and other events that would support our students.
Along with school based projects the MCESA participates in County wide PRIDE events as well.
